NOTES
Note historique | "A Champion Model and Proven Winner Built by the 'Old hamp' Himself! Powerhouse means just what it says - POWER plus, packed into a single model which has proven itself to be a consistent winner. This champion model is featured this month, offsrping of that celebrated Nationals winner Dick Korda, himself a grand old champion! The class B version of his Powerhouse design is described here, with a long list of enviable national records established by this ship..."
This is from the March 1947 issue of Model Craftsman. The wingspan of this version of the Powerhouse is 56in, quite a bit larger than the others you have posted. Note the advert for the plane from Berkeley. That $5 price was just about $55 in today's dollars! This plane was designed by Dick Korda. | Remarques | -- | Sources infos | -- |
